主要科研和教学情况
主要从事天然药物活性成分、天然活性成分的构效关系研究。先后主持了国家自然科学基金、成都大学特聘副研究员基金等项目。作为主要研究人员，参与了国家重点基础研究发展计划（973）、国家重大新药创制专项、国家中医药管理局重点项目、国家药典委员会项目和其它省部级科研项目10余项。发表论文30余篇，其中以第一或通讯作者发表SCI 14篇。获得国家教育部科学技术进步奖二等奖（2012）、中华中医药学会科学技术奖三等奖（2013）。
主要在研项目
1.付强负责，基于抑制滑膜血管新生研究威灵仙通络治痹的物质基础和机制。国家自然科学基金项目（批准号：81503234），2016.1～2018.12。21.6万元。
2.付强负责，单面针抗炎的物质基础及作用机制研究。成都大学特聘副研究员科研基金（立项编号：2081915021），2015.1～2018.1。30万元。
